By creating an account, logging in, or using WanderBask in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy (collectively, "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
WanderBask is a digital aquarium platform where users create and manage fish that wander between friends' aquariums carrying secure messages. Mantidae reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
Accounts are created using email-based authentication. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account. You must provide accurate information and may not create accounts for others without their permission. Accounts are non-transferable.
WanderBask uses end-to-end encryption for messages. Your secret code is known only to you and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. If you forget your secret code, you may lose access to previously sent and received messages. Mantidae cannot recover your secret code or decrypt your messages. You acknowledge and accept this risk.
You retain ownership of content you create on WanderBask. You grant Mantidae a limited license to store, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the service. You are solely responsible for content you create and may not use the service to transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
You agree not to use WanderBask to harass, threaten, or harm others; to send spam or unsolicited messages; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service; to reverse engineer or disrupt the service; or to use the service for any illegal purpose. Violations may result in immediate account termination without notice.
WanderBask is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Mantidae does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantidae LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use WanderBask. Mantidae's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $0 if you used only free features).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mantidae LLC, its members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of WanderBask or your violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time. Mantidae may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason at its sole discretion. Upon termination, your data may be permanently deleted. Mantidae is not liable for any loss of data upon account termination.
Mantidae may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by a new version date. Continued use of WanderBask after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mantidae regarding WanderBask. Failure to enforce any provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent account termination. Mantidae reserves the right to take immediate action for serious violations without prior notice.
Email address: Used for account authentication. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
Account data: Display name, fish names, species, personalities, and friendship relationships.
Message data: Messages are end-to-end encrypted. We store encrypted message content and basic metadata (sender, recipient, timestamp). We cannot read your messages.
Usage data: IP address and browser information, collected for security and operational purposes.
WanderBask uses end-to-end encryption for messages. We do not have access to your secret code and cannot decrypt your messages. In response to a legal request, we can provide encrypted data and metadata but cannot provide decrypted message content.
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Message content is stored as encrypted ciphertext. Metadata is retained for service operation and security purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data when required by law or to protect our rights. Only encrypted data and metadata would be provided in such cases.
You may access, correct, or delete your account data at any time. You may delete your account through the app. You may contact us to request data export or account deletion.
We implement reasonable security measures. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your secret code private and your email account secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be indicated by a new version date.
